Therapy

Depression & Anxiety

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

ADHD and Associated disorders

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Educational Therapy

Educational therapy teaches skills and strategies that help children manage their issues and improve their schoolwork. Helping children with almost any learning or attention issue.

The specific strategies and treatments used will vary. Depending on your child’s issues. Here are just a few examples of what may be achieved:

  • Help identify behavior issues that may be caused by underlying learning and attention issues
  • Teach strategies to improve focus and work habits
  • Teach time management and organization skills
  • Develop an educational plan by giving assessments, tracking progress and adjusting as needed
  • Provide a safe environment for your child to talk about school and learn how to self advocate.
  • Act as a link between home and school.

For example, if your child has dyscalculia and maths anxiety, a regular tutor might practice the maths problems over and over. I  educational therapy, it would be identified that your child struggles with number sense. And strategies would be developed to teach  your child strategies for recognising basic number facts, or suggest accommodations. In addition to teaching your child coping skills for anxiety.

Educational therapy help build your child’s academic skills and self-confidence.
